A Community of Writers

By Dean Parkin

Dean’s next workshop is on 1st March 2021 – and like the previous ones, it will be free, informal, and great fun; it will also lead you through some simple writing techniques whilst simultaneously sharing hints and tips on getting the most out of a Zoom meeting.

New members are always welcome – there is absolutely no need for any previous experience and all poems submitted are published on the Gallery pages of this blog site.

If you would like to know more about the sessions, or book a place, please email mdf@suffolkartlink.org.uk

January Pledge by SuzaRosa

I promise to leave off the red wine
just a little
As it should improve my health
and my insomnia.
But this pledge, like many others
is made
With the knowledge that it is already
a broken promise
Before we have even dipped our toes
into the new year.
So let us celebrate good health
and long sleeps
With a little drop of that ruby juice.
Cheers, one and all!
